Brewing Tips

To Brew Lopchu Tea Leaves

Pour measured hot water into a pre-warmed tea pot containing Lopchu Tea. The hot water should be removed after the first boil taking care not to overboil it. The tea leaves should be left to brew in the pot for five to seven minutes for best flavour infusion.

Quantity Normally Used: One level teaspoon for every cup and one for the pot. This may be varied to suit taste and local water.
Milk and sugar may be added for taste

Store the tea packet in an air tight container in a cool dry place free from moisture and odour.


To Brew Lopchu Tea Bag

Place a Lopchu tea bag in your tea cup. Pour fresh hot water into the cup. Allow the tea to infuse for 3-4 minutes Dip, dip, dip the tea bag till you obtain the desired aroma and colour Remove the tea bag. Add milk and sugar to taste. We suggest having your favourite cuppa black.
